The AMA has been part of social life in the canton of Aargau for over 40 years. Every spring, the fair is the meeting point for an entire region. It draws over 40,000 visitors to the Schachen in Aarau, making it the most popular trade fair in the canton. AMA owes its success to the eventful mix.

Around 250 exhibitors form the heart of the fair. They present their innovative products and services with great commitment in an attractive environment, because the AMA also offers fringe events and special shows every year. The highlights in 2018 included the Buureland with petting zoo and presentations, the guest region Appenzellerland, the AMA events with concerts and the SME Forum Economic Region Aargau.
